tellGem

Information for Education providers

‘tell Gem’ aims to make it easier for children and young people to tell you about harmful or unwanted sexual behaviour from their peers. It also lets young people tell you about adults who are sexually harassing or abusing them.

This customisable app provides intelligence that empowers institutions to make evidence-based changes to their cultural, physical and online environments, thereby increasing safety and reducing episodes of harm to children and young people.

Children and young people can be anonymous but any information they share will be passed onto you, allowing for robust recording of episodes of peer-on-peer abuse.

As well as educating young people about consent and sexual assault, ‘Gem’ provides information that is relevant and specific to that child or young person’s experience. This takes the form of medical and forensic advice, along with personal safety advice.

There are many benefits that come with using ‘tell Gem’ at your school, college, university or training establishment. Please contact us for further information about how we can help.

This information page is under construction but the ‘tell Gem’ app is ready!
